Why does OPNsense lose its configuration after a reboot?

Hola!

I still have this ticked open, but I understand the issue a bit better so I leave it here a live doc. The Problem is that OPNsense settings (e.g., IP addresses, firewall rules) were lost after rebooting the VM. For me the cause I found is OPNsense was running in live mode from the installation media (ISO) instead of being installed on the disk.

The Solution, is something I couln't implement yet as I thing there is something else I need to configure as there is no disk I can install the ISO into, does has sense? Are like invisible but the plan would be to Install OPNsense to the disk.

From the OPNsense console, select option 8) Shell. Run pfSense-installer and install to the VM’s disk (scsi0). I am here at the moment

Remove the ISO from the VM’s CD/DVD drive in Proxmox. After installation, reconfigure settings via the web GUI
