Tech home lab - Initiation Phase
Hola!
These days, I have some more free time on my hands, which is leading me to revive my previous home lab. I started with a workstation and Proxmox. Surprise number one, everyone: on the setup I'm working on now, the screen needs an adaptor! ༼ಠ ل ಠ༽
Well, while I await its arrival, I've changed my mindset... this feels like a great opportunity to cool down my thinking process. I mean, I find it exciting to jump into "let's do this or that," but this time my mindset is different.
I learned the hard way, and I want to keep this documented. In this video, I found good guidance. I'm not afraid, though, because I work around this stuff all the time. But doing it at my home lab is one of those tough jobs that will pay off.
This blog is also part of the documentation, but I want to keep it easy to read for everyone, including me—more narrative. I’ll definitely try the programs explained in the video by VirtualizationHowto.
I want to create a diagram and think about what I want. I can work with what I have and put myself on track for success. I've saved this video playlist. For now, I’m happy with my Proxmox, but I want it to work again like it did before. I forgot the details of what I did, but hopefully, I have everything to start working on the network infosec projects as soon as the ლ(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ლ) adaptor arrives!
Stay safe!
P.S. Expect more lab memes from here!
All this didn’t need AI interaction... can you imagine!?
